The Cairns Croc-O-Dollars is a bumper promotion set to run annually in The Cairns Post. For its launch, readers collected tokens from the newspaper each day and entered the draw to "live free for a year", thanks to a wide array of local businesses, all of whom contributed in their own way to the prize pool. Over $55,000 worth of goods and services were put together, attracting thousands of entries leading to 5000 finalists and one grand prize winner.
I designed and illustrated the croc character and contributed to the design and layout of the marketing material to follow, which included pre-promotional material, cut-out coupons and a life-size corflute cutout along with t-shirts for promotion in newsagencies.
